Bespoke SaaS

Bespoke SaaS development in Australia

A software platform built to run your business the way it actually works. You own the code, you choose where it's hosted, and it fits your process instead of someone else's.

Overview

What this is

Bespoke SaaS is a web application we design and build for one business: yours. It runs the workflows your team follows every day and holds the data behind them, with a login for staff, customers, or both. You own the code and the roadmap.

It is worth doing when off-the-shelf software forces your team into workarounds: spreadsheets kept alongside the tool, data re-keyed by hand from one system to the next. A platform built to your process removes that friction and gives you something a competitor cannot buy off a shelf.

It is not the right call for every problem. If a well-supported product already covers most of what you need, we will tell you to buy it. Custom SaaS earns its cost when the workflow is the business.

Included

What’s included

Discovery and scope

A fixed-price engagement that maps your workflows and hands you a build plan and a fixed price before you commit.

Product and UX design

Screens and flows designed around the work and reviewed with the people who will use them, not signed off in a vacuum.

Platform build

A multi-user application with roles and permissions, built by senior developers, with working software in front of you every couple of weeks.

Migration, hosting and handover

Your records moved in from spreadsheets or your old tool, the platform set up on your cloud account, and the code handed to you in your repository with documentation.

Approach

How we approach it

Understand

We sit with your team and follow the real workflow: the steps that repeat and the exceptions that do not. We agree what the first release has to do and what can wait.

Simplify

We cut the build to the workflows that carry the most weight. A smaller first release ships sooner and tells us what to build next.

Build

Senior developers build in short cycles with software you can log into early. You review real screens, not mockups, and change direction while it is still cheap.

Improve

After launch we stay on to fix rough edges, add the next set of workflows, and keep hosting cost and performance in check as usage grows.

Stack

Tech we use

FAQ

Common questions

Who owns the code?
You do. The application lives in your repository and runs on your cloud account. If you ever want another team to take it over, everything they need is already yours.
How long does a first release take?
Most first releases land three to five months after Discovery. The range depends on how many workflows are in scope, which we agree before the build starts.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. We connect to accounting, CRM, payment, and other tools through their APIs so data moves across without manual re-keying.
What does it cost to run?
Running costs are modest for a typical business platform, and we estimate them for you during Discovery so there are no surprises after launch.
Do we need a technical person on our side?
No. We handle the technical decisions and explain them in plain English. You bring the knowledge of how the business works.
